方格纹铜鼎通高20厘米，口径15.3厘米，底径10厘米，敛口，折沿尖唇，垂腹下收，平底，三空心四棱锥状足，口沿上有两个半环状耳，腹部饰以很不规整的带状阳线方格纹，其造型和纹饰风格与中原龙山文化晚期的陶鼎几乎完全一致，但材质却是当时罕见的贵金属——青铜。

Its shape and decorative style are almost complete with the pottery tripod of the late Longshan Culture in Central Plains. Consistent, but the material is then rare precious metal - bronze.
