新寺院是由高达六层的寺院主楼、四栋僧侣宿舍楼、寺院宾馆和游人接待室等构成。寺院主楼一楼为大经堂、二楼为讲经堂、三楼为藏经楼、四楼为多媒体电教室、五楼为金佛殿、六楼为陈列馆，楼顶为金顶。寺院地势开阔，环境优美，有雪山、高山草甸、原始森林，有诗曰：“春之圣山杜鹃艳，夏之圣山绿地毯，秋之圣山彩林灿，冬之圣山结佛缘。”
The new temple is composed of six main buildings, four dormitory buildings for monks, Temple Hotel and visitor reception room. The first floor of the main building of the temple is the Dajing hall, the second floor is the lecture hall, the third floor is the Sutra collection building, the fourth floor is the multimedia electric classroom, the fifth floor is the Golden Buddha Hall, the sixth floor is the exhibition hall, and the roof is the golden roof. The temple has an open terrain and beautiful environment, including snow mountains, alpine meadows and primitive forests. There are poems that say, "the holy mountain in spring is azalea, the holy mountain in summer is green carpet, the holy mountain in autumn is colorful, and the holy mountain in winter is Buddhist."
原来马尔康县到昌列寺共有两条小路，都是沿着107国道出城向西藏方向左拐，两条小路弯弯曲曲谷底开始，像梳子一样来回一直爬升到海拔3500左右的昌列寺，路很窄，许多地方只能一辆小车通过，个别弯子小车也需要倒一下才能拐过来。几年前马尔康政府领导对昌列山风景区赞叹不已，修建了宽敞的水泥马路，现在交通方便，13米长的货车多能上山。
It turns out that there are two paths from malkang county to changlisi, all of which go out of the city along the national highway 107 and turn left to Tibet. The two paths start at the bottom of the winding valley and climb back and forth like a comb to changlisi, which is about 3500 above sea level. The road is very narrow. Many places can only be passed by one car, and some of them need to be reversed to turn around. A few years ago, leaders of the malkang government praised the changlieshan scenic area, and built a spacious cement road. Now, the traffic is convenient, and more than 13 meters long trucks can go up the mountain.
